Return & Exchange Policy

At Love Maisie, each piece is thoughtfully hand-knotted and custom-crafted with deep intention. Because our bags are handmade and tailored to your specifications, we kindly ask you to review our guidelines below regarding returns and exchanges.

1. Damaged or Defective Items (Factory Defects)

We maintain a strict quality control process before shipping your order. However, if you receive an item with a structural defect or if the wrong product was sent, we will gladly arrange an exchange at no extra cost to you.

• Reporting Window: You must report the issue within 48 hours of receiving your package based on the courier's tracking delivery date.

• Requirement: To qualify for an exchange, you must provide a clear, unedited unboxing video showing the package being opened from its original sealed state, highlighting the defect.

2. Personalized & Made-to-Order Items

• No Change-of-Mind Returns: We do not accept returns or exchanges due to a change of mind, preference, or mistaken color selection once an order has been finalized and paid for. 

• Custom Name Tags: Items featuring custom-engraved wooden tags or debossed leather name tags cannot be exchanged or refunded, as they are permanently personalized and unique to you. 

• Minimalist / Non-Personalized Items: If you select the "No Name Tag" option for a minimalist look, the item remains Final Sale upon payment confirmation. This rule applies regardless of whether the bag was custom-made for you or pulled from our limited ready-to-ship inventory. 

3. Order Confirmations, Cancellations & Modifications

• The Request Process: Submitting an initial order request via our website does not mean a confirmed order. Our team will review your request and respond within 24 hours with a official quotation and secure payment instructions.

• Order Confirmation: An order is only considered official and confirmed once payment has been settled and verified. 

• Changes After Payment: Because we immediately source materials and prepare custom details upon receiving payment confirmation, we cannot accept any cancellations, color changes, or personalization modifications once your payment has been processed.

Special Bridal Policy: To-Follow Entourage Lists

For bulk orders and bridal packages, we understand that guest lists and bridesmaid selections may take time to finalize. You may secure your slots and enjoy current pricing today with a "To Follow" personalization arrangement.

• Production Deadline: To ensure your handcrafted bags arrive well ahead of your wedding date, your finalized masterlist of names must be submitted at least [30 days] before your targeted delivery/shipment date.

• Unused Name Tags: If you submit your masterlist and choose to leave some bags without a name tag for our sleek, minimalist look, this is fully acceptable. Please note that since personalization is an optional inclusion built into the package price, any unused name tags will be forfeited and cannot be exchanged for other items or credit.

• Final List Rule: The masterlist you submit will be considered your final, official list. To maintain our production schedule, no further spelling updates, edits, or name changes can be accepted once engraving begins.

4. Shipping for Approved Exchanges

• For approved defective or incorrect item exchanges, Love Maisie will cover all return shipping costs. 

• Items must be sent back in their original condition, unused, and packed securely inside the original Love Maisie Dust Bag, Signature Gift Box, and Paper Bag.
